Responsibilities include assisting in the preparation and drafting of estate planning and probate documents, managing client interactions, and ensuring the smooth execution of legal procedures. Close cooperation with attorneys, clients, and legal experts is crucial for crafting wills, trusts, and other estate-planning documents, such as probate documents and trust administration. Responsibilities: • Prepare legal documents for estate planning purposes, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives • Communicate effectively with clients to obtain necessary information, explain legal procedures, and address any inquiries or issues related to estate planning • Conduct thorough research and analysis on estate planning laws and regulations to ensure accuracy and compliance in document preparation • Manage and organize client files meticulously, ensuring all essential documents are accurately maintained and readily accessible • Collaborate closely with attorneys to review and finalize estate planning documents, making revisions as needed to meet legal standards • Participate in client meetings, both in-person and virtually, to discuss estate planning options, review documents, and address client concerns • Stay updated on changes in estate planning laws and regulations to ensure legal compliance and provide current information to attorneys and clients Qualifications: • A Bachelor's degree or paralegal certification is a mandatory requirement for this position in Boca Raton, FL, US • Previous work experience as a paralegal is necessary, with a preference for those with estate planning or Probate experience • The ideal candidate must possess a strong grasp of legal procedures and documentation associated with estate planning and Probate • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for effective interaction with attorneys, clients, and legal professionals • Attention to detail and exceptional organizational abilities are key qualities needed for this role. • Proficiency in legal research and document management software is essential for efficient document preparation and management • Candidates must be eligible to work in the USA without requiring sponsorship Compensation: $55,000 - $60,000 annually
