One of our tops clients is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager or Practice Lead o join  their growing team Bridge team  in either their Portland, Oregon office or Boise, Idaho location.

    My client is expanding their team in the Pacific Northwest, and is looking for a motivated Project Manager/Bridge Engineer to manage and lead bridge design projects in either their Portland, Oregon or Boise, Idaho office. Come collaborate with some of the top bridge design professionals in the industry. This position will provide a confident self-starter the opportunity for career advancement, while contributing to the firm’s growth in bridge engineering in the PNW.

    What you can expect in this role:

    • Manage the bridge design project delivery to create an exemplary client experience to a wide variety of clients including the Department of Transportation (DOT) and cities & counties throughout each state
    • Contribute towards the development of the Bridge Services marketing strategy that focuses on providing excellent repeat services to our current clients and expanding our client base
    • Collaborate on project pursuits and technical challenges
    • Lead design and monitor task performance indicators, budgets, schedules, and contribute to management of risk
    • Lead the design and production of bridge plans DOT and local agency projects
    • Coach junior level staff and collaborate with PE’s across the firm

    Skills & Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering from an ABET accredited engineering program
    • PE registration in the State of Oregon or Idaho, or ability to be registered with reciprocity
    • 8-10+ of related bridge design experience
    • Prior proposal development and client relationship management experience is desirable
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office required
    • Experience with MicroStation or equivalent CAD software as well as bridge design software required
    • Knowledge of OpenBridge Modeler a plus
    • Great communication and team leadership skills
    • Self-motivated and adaptable, including the capability to learn virtual collaboration tools
