    Laredo's first upscale Barber Shop, Bar and Men's Spa is looking for a Manager...Job Summary: Responsible for the management and operations of The Social Barber shop, bar and spa. Responsible for providing superior customer service and ensuring team members are doing the same. Previous experience in management is required and previous experience in managing salons and/or barbershops and/or a cosmetology and/or a barber license is welcomed.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    · Ability to provide superior customer service, lead by example and ensuring staff is doing the same

    · Greet customers upon arrival and guide them through our list of products, services and location

    · Maintain a presentable, sanitary and professional appearance for our customers as well as the entire staff

    · Maintain a relaxed environment for our customers and a great working environment for our staff

    · Open and close the location

    · Hold and participate in huddles, team meetings and continuing education programs

    · Responsible for training team members

    · Coach, manage and hold team members accountable to expectations

    · Assist owner in the hiring, training and terminating team members

    · Create and distribute schedules

    · Create reports to review with team and owner

    · Responsible for creating and holding evaluations with team members

    · Responsible for resolving customer complaints

    · Responsible for inventory and supply management

    · Responsible for overseeing cash flow plan/budget

    · Responsible for delegating tasks to team members

    · Responsible for the oversight of our Social Media presence

    · Responsible for running payroll

    · Assist owner in the marketing efforts of the business

    · Clean around station, shop, bar, spa, restrooms and assist in washing/drying towels

    · Stock shelves with products and supplies

    · Serve customers and interact with them

    · Must be able to drive to other businesses for the purpose of picking up supplies, making deposits and retrieving change

    · Ability to utilize different computer systems to schedule, view, communicate and check out patrons

    · Ability to promote services, packages, promotions and membership programs

    · Ability to sell products or grooming supplies

    · Maintain shop licenses

    · Familiarize themselves and adhere to all Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations, safety and sanitation policies and procedures and ensure staff is doing the same

    · Perform other administrative duties

    · Perform any other duties assigned by the owner
