A Source+ teller assists customers by being the Source+ of answering to their questions! Assisting by giving information about products and experiences by using products in our store. Accurately ringing up customers, providing promo education and ensuring the customer has the best experience possible while building positive customer relationships.

About The Source+

The Source+, a cannabis leader in Nevada, has four dispensary and two cultivation locations throughout the state plus operations in Massachusetts.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for checking customer ID and medical card (if applicable) before completing transaction
• Responsible for confirming customer order for accuracy before completing transaction
• Responsible for taking payment (cash or debit), providing receipt, affixing/providing required labels/paperwork, and providing accurate change
• Responsible for adhering to Company cash handling policies
• Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing Teller area and equipment
• Responsible for set up and breakdown of Teller area
• Responsible for communicating daily specials
• Responsible for explaining the benefits of our Rewards program and assisting interested customers with registration (email and text preferred)
• Responsible for timely execution of tasks as assigned by team Leads/Managers and Store Management
• Responsible for providing administrative assistance as needed
• Responsible for maintaining a positive attitude that promotes teamwork and problem solving

Physical Demands

• Must be able to lift as much as 50 pounds occasionally

Must be able to carry, bend, stand, file documents, lift, and push/pull as needed

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• 1-2 years as an individual contributor in a retail environment.

• Must be over the age of 21

• Possess (or be able to obtain) and maintain an active agent card

• Ability to complete and maintain ongoing education and professional development as needed

• Commitment to adhere to all State and local medical and recreational cannabis regulations, statutes, laws, and guidance

• Commitment to adhere to the SOP's of the Company

• Ability to handle high stress situations and busy atmosphere

• Superior customer service skills

• Ability to maintain a positive attitude that promotes team work and problem solving

• Ability to stand on feet for a full shift

• Cash register/ POS experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Cannabis industry experience (retail preferred)
• Associates Degree preferred or equivalent job experience

• There is no visa or H1-B sponsorship. Candidates must successfully complete a criminal record screening or FBI Fingerprints requirements.
