  • Responsibilities

    The Account Supervisor is responsible for overall agency services on client accounts as well as being responsible for the supervision, growth and development of all account team personnel, which includes providing training, motivation and performance evaluations.

    Externally, the Account Supervisor is responsible for developing a close relationship with senior level client contacts, establishing marketing objectives effectively, while managing income results for the agency. The Account Supervisor must be energetic and proponents of all client partnerships within the agency, and participate in and lead any external cross functional teams.

    Leadership is rooted in strategic partnership with a focus on absolute understanding of the client’s business (objectives, risks and strategies). They are the core contact for all partner relationships and day-to-day client activities and must be able to articulate the vision and value of all agency attributes and points of differentiation. They are responsible for the core growth and development of the account team, including goal-setting performance evaluations.

    Financial responsibilities include monthly billing, forecasting and updating clients on monthly billing and expenses.

    Summary:

    • Own entire body of client work and relationship

    • Responsible for client P&L

    • Supervise AMs and Senior AMs

    • Grow existing client business

    Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

    • Serves as primary lead on client’s business

    • Has a thorough understanding of the client's products, unique features and values relative to the competition

    • Has a thorough understanding of the client's industry to understand competitors, audience insights, and major industry trends

    • Responsible for the primary client contacts with the expectation they are not only responsive and professional, but become a regular advisor to the client and foster a deeper relationship of trust

    • Manages and develops account team members

    • Develops budget and forecasting, including monthly billings

    • Leads strategy and long-term communication planning

    • Generates income outside of plans and finds organic growth opportunities

    • Conducts employee reviews and contributes to career development

    • Responsible for requesting and managing all resources needed for an account

    • Viewed by the client as a lead decision maker

    • Responsible for any client annual reviews of agency

    • Works as an effective team member, helping others and contributing to our success

    • Possesses strong presentation skills

    Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has supervisory responsibilities.

    Minimum of a four year degree in a related discipline and have 8 or more years in the field or closely related area, or combination of education and relevant experience.
