JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Program Manager is responsible for leading a team of six Academic Coaches, Kitchen Manager and Volunteers in the creation and delivery of academic and enrichment programs in accordance with our Scholar Model. The Program Manager provides oversight of the program to ensure compliance with all policies and procedures. Additionally, the Program Manager is responsible for parent, scholar and stakeholder engagement with the program. This includes coordination of on-site STEAM and enrichment activities, the design and implementation of program curriculum, special events and reporting on key program metrics in partnership with the Development Director.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

• Provide guidance through 1:1 coaching, oral and written feedback, observation and training.

• Ensures the Program Team has the necessary tools and support to offer highly supervised, quality services to our Scholars, in a safe and      healthy environment at all times

• Serves as the primary liaison between the organization, school administration, and other key stakeholders

• Oversee and manage the program budget

• Maintain all program documents and files required by funding sources

• Attend all necessary organization meetings, work collaboratively with senior staff and school administration to align program relevant           support

• Writing and submitting assigned reports, assessments, etc.

• Working closely with Development Director on fundraising initiatives as needed

• Work closely with school leadership to coordinate scholar recruitment, registration and retention

• Ensure that program spaces (classrooms/dining hall, computer lab, etc.) are in good condition; as well as maintain policies and routines that ensure safety and supervision of youth at all times

• All other duties as assigned

The Study Hall is an after-school and summer program that serves K-5th grade children in the greater Peoplestown community offering an educational and enrichment curriculum that equips children to achieve sustained personal and academic success.
