The Swimming Swan is hiring seasonal lifeguards to work at the CHS Aquatics Center in Gilroy, CA. No experience necessary! An ideal summer job for those who love being poolside. We’re looking for highly motivated individuals who want to jump into a rewarding career and gain life saving experience. You’ll be working with a team of like-minded people, training and sharpening your skills that will benefit you for life.
Qualifications
1 year of lifeguarding experience and have access to reliable transportation
15 years old minimum
Current and valid ARC or equivalent certification including but not limited to Lifeguard, CPR First Aid and AED
Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
Ability to pass pre-employment verbal skills test
Ability to pass a swim and in-water skills test when applicable
All applicants are subject to background screenings and (when applicable) drug testing

$150 NEW HIRE BONUSES
50% Reimbursement for Lifeguard Training and participation in our certification courses for all new hires
We offer 50% reimbursement on all certification courses after 45 days or 1 season of employment (minimum 1 shift weekly)
Duties: lifeguarding pool area, maintain cleanliness of the facility, assist with setup and break down of swim lessons and private events, all other duties as assigned.
Pay: $18.25-20/hr, DOE
