The Swimming Swan is hiring seasonal swim instructors to work in Gilroy, CA. We’re looking for people who love being outdoors, learning lifesaving skills, and working with a team and their community.

DETAILS

Seasonal, Part-Time

Up to 20-30 hours a week

Pool Hours: Vary depending on programming.

Duties: Teaching group swim lessons to students ages 6 mos.+

Pay: 19.00/hr

BONUSES

$200 Retention Bonus - Working a full season (Memorial Day through Labor Day), maintaining 24 hours per week with 3 or less callouts the whole season. $100 Employee Referral Bonus - For referring a new hire employee after successful completion of 60 days of employment. We offer 50% reimbursement on all certification courses for new hires after successful completion of a season (Memorial Day to Labor Day).

QUALIFICATIONS

Ages 16+

Have or ability to successfully complete an American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certification.

Ability to pass pre-employment verbal skills test.

Ability to pass a swim and in-water skills test when applicable.

All applicants are subject to background screenings and (when applicable) drug testing.

Strong customer service background preferred.
