    The Talent Mine is recruiting for a Power BI Developer with experience in the Talent/HR space for an immediate role in our client’s facility in Charlotte, NC.     *NOTE: Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder and be able to pass both a criminal background check and drug screen, as well as work on site in the Charlotte, NC area.

     

    **COMPENSATION NOTES***

    TOTAL COMP for this position is $125K- $170K broken down as follows:

    · Base salary of $93K-$121K (based on experience)

    · The average annual bonus has been 33.6% over the past 5+ years + added 401K match

    · You also receive a $4,000 educational credit for yourself

    · You also receive additional $2,000 educational credits for your spouse and EACH child!

     

    Overview:

    This position will be responsible for designing and developing modern Talent and HR reports and dashboards while working within a dedicated Product Team. Additionally, the chosen candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the availability and performance of these visualizations, ensuring a consistent and dependable BI experience for users.

     

    You will collaborate with Product Owners and Business Stakeholders to translate business needs and data into actionable insights that drive informed decision making. You will design, develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI. You will support and document the availability and performance of developed reports that is aligned with the overall BI strategy. You will optimize the performance of BI solutions by tuning queries and optimizing data models to ensure fast and efficient data retrieval and analysis. You will provide timely and effective technical support to ensure a consistent and reliable BI experience. And you will participate in agile planning activities, including sprint planning, stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives

     

    This is a hybrid position working 3 days a week in-office in Charlotte, NC

     

    The most qualified candidates will strongly resemble the following:

    • 3+ years BI experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI based on industry standards and best practices with a focus on HR/Talent systems 
    • Strong visualization skills with the ability to effectively communicate insights and tell a compelling story through data visualization 
    • 2+ years experience working with HRIS platforms or HCM systems such as UKG, Ceridian, ADP, SAP, WorkDay, SuccessFactors
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields 
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure SQL databases or similar data platforms 
    • Strong understanding of agile practices and methodologies
