    We are proud to partner with a leading broadcasting company to hire a talented Voice Architect (CCIE preferred) for a Permanent fulltime position onsite in the Miami area.

    As an Architect, you will plan, develop, and configure the Company’s telecommunications and Unified Communications (UC) infrastructure. This includes installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all telephone systems and services, voicemail, video conferencing, and UC environments. You will also analyze telecommunications services to ensure service requests are aligned with the needs of the business.

    You will be:

    • Designing, developing, implementing, and testing disaster recovery plans to detect faults, minimize downtime, and ensure back-up systems are available.
    • Remain current on new products, services, protocols, and standards in support of telecom and collaboration systems development and equipment procurement.
    • Review opportunities for system optimization or remediation and execute as required.
    • Manage and administer telecommunications infrastructure and associated software, including Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Unity voicemail, Contact Center Express, SIP trunks, CUBE, voice gateways, collaboration/WebEx and video conferencing systems.
    • Manage complex move/add/change/disconnect requests and user incidents.
    • Oversee 3rd party managed service providers and telecom vendors
    • Monitor and identify capacity and performance issues for telecommunications traffic to ensure continued, uninterrupted operation.
    • Generate telecommunications usage and inventory reports.
    • Interact with technical staff to ensure the safe and proper installation of cabling, wiring, and another telecommunications hardware.
    • Work with and lead partners, vendors, and other entities as needed.
    • Create, support, and maintain reports and automation scripts.
    • Provide tier 3 on-call technical support.

    Skills you need to bring:

    • Cisco Certified CCIE (or equivalent knowledge and experience) in Voice/Collaboration
    • Advanced technical knowledge of the Cisco Unified Communications Suite including:
    • Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) routing, call control, and media resources
    • Cisco CUBE configuration including dial peers, URI dial peers, carrier SIP trunking and translations.
    • Voice gateways including DSP’s, PRI’s, dial peers, hunting, translations, and caller ID manipulation
    • Complex dial plan management
    • CUCM best practices for dial plan, line and device configuration
    • CUCM hunt groups, partitions and search spaces; including how to apply them in different scenarios
    • Troubleshoot complex call flow between endpoints
    • Capture, read and decipher SIP signaling communication between devices
    • Strong working knowledge of:

    • Cisco Unity Connection
    • Cisco Contact Center Express
    • VMware ESXi
    • Cisco UCS hardware platforms, including Cisco CIMC
    • Cisco Expressway including routing/search rules, MRA and Jabber
    • Cisco Telepresence Management and Meeting Server
    • Ability to troubleshoot H.323/SIP/TIP video call routing and signaling.
    • Carrier SIP, AT&T BVOIP preferred
    • ITIL service management framework and practices
    • Working technical knowledge of current telecommunications practices, protocols, and principles, including legacy PRI, T1, and 1FB.
    • Adept at reading, writing, and interpreting technical documentation and procedure manuals.
    • Experience managing external managed service providers and telecom vendors.
    • Must be authorized to work in the United States as a W-2 employee as client is unable to sponsor visas at this time.
