We have partnered with a top advisory firm to provide a contract consultant for a long term remote opportunity for a hands-on developer with knowledge of Architecture & Design concepts, based on FHIR standard.

Scope of Assignment:

Working as part of a talented Digital Transformation team, your expertise will be leveraged to help to architect a healthcare data interoperability backend, based on FHIR standard.  This is very much a customer-facing role which will also see you involved in recommending 3rd party systems and/or custom components for FHIR server; and designing and implementing a FHIR data backend and a FHIR server with internal and external APIs.

Experience Required:

• Recent FHIR project experience is a must

• 5+ years of professional development experience
• Expertise with HL7, FHIR, CDA, JSON
  
• API development experience
• Spring Boot and/or JavaScript skills
• Kafka skills would be a huge plus
• Experience in interface implementations such as REST/SOAP
• Development experience in Azure Microsoft Stack (nice to have)
• Effective communication skills!
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

While this opportunity is remote due to COVID-19, it would be ideal that the Consultant is in either of the following locations to accommodate long term needs of assignment: Chicago, Minneapolis, or Los Angeles, however, it is not essential.
