    As a Solution Architect within the Energy and Commodities Practice of our client's global team, you will stretch your technical chops designing and developing business solutions based on the Microsoft Tech Stack, while enjoying top compensation and benefits, a supportive culture and strong career trajectory.

    While your core contributions will be to actively support the development, and drive quality during design and realization of the solution, you will also play a team lead role for a small team and/or take on responsibility for the development of a specific component or track of the solution architecture.  

    The general to do's:

    • Architect, lead, and support design, estimation and planning tasks for the solution using technical and functional expertise
    • Generate and review estimates, which include anticipated issues and risks
    • Facilitate clients in workshops and meetings to capture business requirements and develop solution design using best practice/design patterns
    • May be required to be hands-on developer for complex areas
    • Project manage people, and scope, be responsible for quality for your development track/team throughout the project lifecycle

    EXPERTISE WE NEED YOU TO BRING:

    • Significant hands-on experience in solution design, architectural analysis
    • Architectural and development skills in the following technologies: C#, ASP.NET MVC, XML, JavaScript, T-SQL, Oracle/SQL Server
    • Experience in Agile methodologies and Test Driven Development (TDD)
    • Extensive knowledge of UML and multithreading
    • Ability to influence and negotiate with clients and team members
    • Project leadership skills including people management, scope and plan management and tracking
    • Ability to abstract detail into larger (repeatable) patterns, familiarity with user-centered analysis and evaluation techniques
    • Openness to travel and work at client offices
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
