Immediate Contract opportunity for a Senior Websphere Commerce Server Developer or Architect to help a major retail client Migrate a Product Management System. 

This role will require Consultant to be on-site in Houston so a local candidate is highly preferred.

Expertise sought:

• WCS Developer with 5-7 years of hands-on WCS 7.x/8.x development experience in Retail e-Commerce space
• It is essential you are able to demonstrate hands-on experience in Java performance tuning/holiday readiness
• Proven experience with JVM monitoring and diagnostic for optimal application performance.
• Experience with Performance Analysis/Troubleshooting while providing solutions to optimize application performance
• Good understanding of memory management, multi-threading, thread/connection pooling etc.
• Knowledge of Java deployment structures (Jar, War…)
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject

Nice to Haves:

• Product Management System exposure (Riversand would be highly advantageous)
• Previous GCP, AWS, or other cloud exposure would be a strong plus
