    In these roles, you will leverage your exceptional communication skills to partner with business owners to translate their needs into technical specifications and act as the liaison between the technology teams to implement and support the Customer and Marketing Applications Portfolio, and new investments in Marketing Automation.

     Key Responsibilities will include:

    • Gather and document functional and non-functional requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and workflow analysis.
    • Produce wireframes, annotations, workflows and other requirements and design artifacts in support of Marketing Automation initiatives.
    • Translate requirements into technical specifications to support development in both traditional (Waterfall) and Agile development methodologies.
    • Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, decompose high-level information into details, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
    • Proactively communicate and collaborate with technical team and business owners to analyze information needs and functional requirements to deliver an effective solution.
    • Develop user documentation and conduct training as required.
    • Participate in the QA and release management of new functionality and changes to applications through thorough functional testing, debugging and user acceptance before planning and executing deployment into Production
    • Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting.

     

    Experience guidelines:

    • Certification preferred (either PMI-PBA or IIBA-CBAP).
    • 2+ years’ experience with marketing automation platforms like Salesforce including installation, configuration, and production support
    • 2+ years’ experience with CDP (Customer Data Platform) including installation, configuration, and run support
    • Advanced proficiency across Business Analysis lifecycle 5 + years (Analysis, Design, Testing, Process, and Documentation). Ability to translate business requirements to technical requirements.
    • Strong analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into operational requirements.
    • Proven experience working on Agile projects as a Business Analyst or Product Owner is required.
    • Hospitality experience preferred.
    • Working knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Selenium preferred.
    • Comfortable operating in a startup-like environment.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group in a dynamic work environment.
    • Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders and build strong working relationships across business leaders, IT, vendor partners and consultants.
    • Bachelor’s degree required. Hospitality, Information Management, or Computer Science preferred.
