Scope of Assignment:
Seeking a Salesforce Consultant who remains hands on, with the proven ability to manage end to end from proof of concept to delivery.
- Serve as a Trusted Advisor of Salesforce platform in both technical and functional aspects at a program level.
- Define high level & detailed architecture of the platform, community and related components.
- Maintain architectural integrity of the application by guiding individual solution designs.
- Advice and mentor teams with best practices for enterprise architecture functions such as Security, Performance, Development Process, and Application Governance.
- Keeper of Platform related documentation and white papers
- Participate in ongoing architecture review and technical design support to ensure all areas of Enterprise Systems are implementing solutions consistent with the target architecture
- Provide guidance on integration development best practices, Enterprise Architecture standards, environment management & testing.
- Provide strong leadership for technical design functions on assigned projects, Proof of Concept, feasibility studies, roadmap development and strategies.
- Help align Enterprise Systems strategy and planning with application development and business roadmaps
- Troubleshoot key implementation issues and demonstrate ability to drive to successful resolution.
- Lead the evaluation of business and technical requirements from a senior level.
- Liaise with Salesforce customer success and product functions to maintain ongoing technical relationship
Experience guidelines
- 15+ years of enterprise experience, including implementation experience with one or more common large-scale enterprise software solutions (e.g. CRM, ERP).
- 8+ years’ experience as an Architect in a mid to large sized organization leading initiatives
- 4-6 years’ experience as a hands-on developer and architect within the Salesforce domain with proven track record in delivering complex projects
- Experience with key areas of enterprise architecture, including integration technologies, single sign on, and data management.
- Demonstrated success in participating in the development and implementation of a robust, scalable architecture that encompasses technology solutions and business objectives
- Strong design skill, knowledge on when, how, where to leverage declarative & programmatic methodologies.
- Hands on experience in Salesforce Lightning Design System, Lightning apps, APEX, Visualforce, API’s, Events, Flows & Automation.
- Experience on Salesforce metadata API’s, deployment methodologies, code coverage & release process
- Expert on Salesforce security model, components & guideline (both declarative & programmatic)
- Solid experience on implementing Salesforce community cloud, Salesforce Knowledge management.
- Proven ability to analyze, design, and optimize business processes via technology and integration.
- Solid knowledge on setting up Data Migration methodologies & approaches
- A particular desire to continually study new technologies and functionality, as well as be involved in projects that push the capabilities of existing technologies.
