    Job Description

    The role of the Maintenance Planner is to improve work force productivity and work quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning and coordination of labor, parts and material, and equipment access. The Maintenance Planner uses Maintenance Management software supports the formalization of maintenance process and ensues data integrity into and out of the management software. The Maintenance Planner also supports Maintenance department objectives including an increase in preventative activities, decrease in reactionary maintenance, adherence to a robust work order system. This position will maintain a focus on safety, performance improvements, cost reduction and standardized maintenance processes.

    Qualifications

    Education & Experience

    Minimum

    • Associates Degree Engineering or related field with appropriate certifications
    • Knowledge of Manufacturing processes and industrial environment
    • Proven work experience with project management

    Preferred

    • Bachelor’s Degree Engineering or related field
    • Knowledge of maintenance management systems
    • Proven leadership or management experience
    • Certified in Maintenance reliability

    Skills & Competencies

    Technical Ability

    • Ability to scan, verify, and accurately interpret documents used to complete maintenance tasks; collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
    • Organize and complete tasks independently; communicate effectively and work cooperatively with staff
    • Ability to read and interpret complex schematics and diagrams
    • Ability to identify and resolve problems with a sense of urgency
    • Must be able to complete work within specified deadlines
    • Ability to Lead root cause and problem analysis processes
