  • Responsibilities

    Provides general administrative support for the day-to-day operations of the HRIS and Benefits Administrator in the Payroll and Benefits Administration Department under the supervision of the HRIS and Benefits Administrator. Contributes to projects, programs and deliverables of the Department. This position also functions as a link between various departments within the company, ranging from payroll to management and outside the company working with benefits brokers and providers.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Perform data entry and maintenance in ADP Workforce Now under strict standards for data integrity
    • Support the maintenance of benefits plans in ADP Workforce Now
    • Provide general administrative support for Payroll and Benefits Administration department
    • Back up for Temporary Worker reports and billings
      • Produce and distribute weekly temp hour reports
      • Reconcile invoices and process payments to agencies
    • Maintain Standard Operating Policies (SOP) related to assigned duties
    • Respond to requests for employment and wage verification
    • Back up for benefits provider invoicing/payment
    • Other duties as required

    Required Skills

    • Ability to effectively handle sensitive, confidential and non-routine information and situations
    • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
    • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedure within Payroll and HR
    • Ability to act with poise, tact and diplomacy

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Organized and detail oriented
    • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands

    Required Experience

    • Minimum of HS diploma. Additional formal education preferred (i.e. certification or degree)
    • 2+ years of administrative experience
      • In Accounting, Payroll and/or Benefits preferred
    • Experience with HRIS preferred
      • ADP-WFN experience is a plus
  • Qualifications
