Job Summary

We are seeking an ETL Developer responsible for analysis, design, development, maintenance and support for various data applications within a marketing operation, customer journey, business intelligence, and advanced analytics environment.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Development:

• Participate in scoping, requirement and specification meetings and participate in design/solution reviews

• Facilitate the conversion of legacy systems into cloud

• Leverage Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services and Cloud Services to design and develop solutions to integrate with Internal Applications, BI and Analytics Platforms, and Marketing Operations production environments

• Leverage data quality prototypes and mappings to operationalize as production jobs

• Work with technical leads, architects, subject matter experts, developers, technical support groups and test teams to deliver value to the business

• Design, prototype, develop, test cases, and document ETL components

• Perform unit testing of ETL components and document test results

• Support all testing, including Development Integration Testing, System Testing, User Acceptance Testing, End-to-End Testing and Performance Testing

• Perform troubleshooting on ETL components

Production Support:

• Support the ongoing operation of data applications and scheduled jobs
• Provide timely response and resolution of emergency production questions, issues and defects
• Maintain and monitor job schedules

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Strong technical and analytical skills

• 3+ years’ experience developing in JavaScript

• Experience with Security frameworks (e.g., JWT, OATH2), RESTful APIs

• Basic understanding of PII information and handling

• Excellent skills in writing, maintaining, testing and debugging code

• 5+ years of experience implementing SQL Server objects such as tables, views, parameterized stored procedures, and functions.

• Experience supporting Marketing, Customer Journey, or Advanced Analytic operations

• AWS Lambda and SQS experience a plus

• Experience in R/Python and Machine Learning is a plus

• Experience with version control software such as Azure DevOps or TFS

• Experience with Journey Orchestration tools like Kitewheel is a plus.

• 5+ years of experience performing technical business analysis

• 5+ years’ experience implementing SSIS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / MIS, or equivalent work experience

• Excellent written and verbal communication required

• Experience writing process flows and requirements documents.

• Experience in researching and interpreting data, with a solid understanding of relational database concepts.

• Strong demonstration of the skills to align business needs with IT capabilities required

• Marketing Technology / Analytics background and experience preferred.
