    PROGRAM LOGISTICS MANAGER

    US ARMY MEDICAL MATERIEL AGENCY (USAMMA)

    THE  TAURI GROUP

     

    We are seeking a Program Logistics Manager to support the US Army Medical Materiel Agency’s (USAMMA) mission to develop, manage and perform end to end life cycle logistics on medical equipment to protect and sustain the Warfighter’s and their families for the Nation. This position is responsible for working with the Tauri Group's team supporting our DoD customer to create plans, timelines, and performance metrics to ensure developmental medical product quality for the users. The successful candidate will ensure effective and economical acquisition and sustainment of systems throughout the system life-cycle, managing assigned assemblages and associated equipment.  

    CANDIDATES MUST HAVE A CURRENT MINIMUM PUBLIC TRUST CLEARANCE

     

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Coordinate with other directorates and outside agencies to formally transition items through the product development lifecycle, i.e. coding, testing, acquisition, vendor management, formal documentation across DoD programs  
    • Implement, monitor and adjust standard medical device solutions within the ARMY SKO’s with both internal and external customers
    • Serve as the technical representative on project teams, execute risk planning efforts and implement process improvements for advanced development efforts (i.e., biotechnology, medical operations, DoD tactical networks, and aviation)
    • Lead Logistic Working Integrated Product Teams (WIPTs), responsible for organizing meetings, preparing agendas, documenting meeting minutes, executive summaries, and action items, etc.
    • Provide technical input, build slides, and draft documents (Life Cycle Sustainment plan) to support to acquisition presentations and documentations in support of major milestones, program reviews, prepare contract documentation to include but not limited to market research, acquisition strategy, performance work statement, purchase request, justification & approval or other program presentations
    • Research and analyze the Table of Distribution and Allowances (TDA) and the Table of Organization and Equipment (TOE) and make investment decisions in support of force structure, using the following databases: Force Management System Web Site (FMSWEB), Logistics Information Warehouse (LIW), Medical Services Information Logistics System (MEDSILS), Army Equipping Enterprise System (AE2S), and General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS), Theater Enterprise Wide Logistics System (TEWLS), Global Combat Support System-Army (GCCS-Army)
    • Provide written technical opinions to guide the decision making process of the IPT, and WG
    • Collaborate with project teams and participate in the evaluation of technical results in multiple developmental areas, developing strategies to move the program forward
    • Collaborate with both internal and external partners, contributing to data analyses in order to create and submit study results to publications or the FDA
  • Qualifications

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

    • Public Trust Clearance: Desired: Secret
    • Bachelor's Degree
    • Minimum of ten (10) years general experience and seven (7) years of experience with DoD life-cycle sustainment & support, and working with Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) systems
    • Experience providing logistics analysis and support to DoD acquisition programs
    • Experience in Integrated Logistics Management supporting The United States Special Operations Command (SOCOM)
    • Experience with the development of written plans, schedules, and performance metrics for product sustainment
    • Previous exposure to the use of military logistics analysis tools, such as the Table of Distribution and Allowances (TDA) and the Table of Organization and Equipment (TOE)
    • Experience monitoring of product testing, fielding, support, and disposition
    • Supervisory experience with teams providing logistics support and analysis
    • Desired: Experience with medical devices or a working knowledge of Army medical Sets Kits and Outfits (SKO)
    • Desired Certifications: PMP, DAU Level II
