    The Tides Condominiums is a community of 52 units located on Jackson Street in beautiful Cape May, New Jersey. The Tides is actively searching for a part-time Office Manager to work on-site, under the leadership of the Board of Trustees. The Office Manager works with the Tides Facilities Manager, Bookkeeper, and other staff. The position encompasses business administrative tasks as well as managing the Tides’ communications with owners, renters, vendors, and the broader community. Apply Now. Anticipated Hours • January through December: Four weekdays, 4 hours a day, with some flexibility • May through September: Saturdays 8 am-4 pm, in addition to the weekday hours. (Alternating Saturdays is negotiable.) Responsibilities: • Administrative office duties – responding to mail, email, phone calls, etc. – and conducting other general condominium-related business. Updating the Tides website • Virtual and face-to-face interactions with Tides owners and renters. Following procedures for renter check-in/check-out, parking assignments, and coordination with cleaning companies. Acting as a first-level mediator to address conflicts and to address questions and concerns • Business on behalf of the Board of Trustees – posting and distributing Board memos, preparing and distributing annual Board election materials, and attending Board meetings as needed (typically via Zoom). Helping Board members ensure compliance with Association By-Laws • Scheduling third-party entities related to Tides business operations – office equipment maintenance firms, insurance agents, mortgage companies, local Cape May officials, etc. • Coordination with Tides Facilities Manager regarding property maintenance, inspections, and contractor site visits. This also applies when scheduling work by owners’ private contractors (HVAC, plumbing, unit renovations) • Collaboration with Tides Bookkeeper regarding financial transactions. Preparing invoices and copies of checks; depositing checks at the bank • Supervising and managing temporary summer support staff -- for example, seasonal office coverage, bellhops, and pool monitors Qualifications: Qualifications/Skills • The ideal candidate is enthusiastic and has the ability to multi-task – a person who takes pride in their work and enjoys collaborating. The candidate must have meticulous organizational skills, exhibit strong attention to detail, and display clear written and oral communication skills • Experience in office or hospitality management or related experience. Degree in business or hospitality management, real estate management, finance, or a related field preferred • Proficient computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Zoom • Knowledge of QuickBooks Online is highly preferred • Knowledge of Lodgix is a plus, but not required Compensation: $25 hourly
