    Job Description

THE TORCH AND SWORD KINGDOM ACADEMY FULL TIME ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHER

The Torch and the Sword Kingdom Academy (TASKA) is international non-profit Christian private school. After praying and crying for next generation and America for a long time, it was birthed in January 18th of 2012. Our foundational purpose is to raise up a generation of restorers and repairers of broken and desolate parts of our societies in family, education, business, government, media, arts and entertainment and religion.

Our major strategy is to educate our students to be firmly rooted in the true identity as sons and daughters of God. We believe regardless of their ethnic and cultural backgrounds, they are equally valuable and deserve to receive education that will prepare them to be next leaders not mere workers who work only for money.

TASKA values spiritual, social, academic, and character maturity. TASKA faculty and staff are expected to hold and develop those values in them and diligently work to instill in each student the moral strength, spiritual insight, creative thinking and academic integrity to reflect the image of God to this world.

In light of this effort and after researching the strengths and weakness of various curriculums, TASKA administration and faculty have chosen to adhere to the National Common Core standards by using ABEKA curriculum for Kindergarten through 3nd grade, Bob Jones University (BJU) curriculum for 4th grade to 12th grade. TASKA also supports teachers to develop lesson plans integrating ABEKA and BJU curriculum to reach the highest state and national standards.

    EXPECTATIONS FOR THE POSITION:

    • BA in education
    • Teaching certificate
    • At least 2 years of teaching experience
    • Spiritual growth and personal discipline
    • Love of children

We are different than other schools because we practice Kingdom Education by honoring and serving Jesus Christ as our King over our school and each class. We are not focusing on raising Christian survivors but Kingdom conquerors and victors over the world. We currently have two campuses one in Atlanta, US and one in Varanasi, India. As God speaks, we are extending the school so that every child can receive Kingdom Education. We believe as we unite in God’s heart, pray and obey, God’s chosen generation will rise up to bring the Kingdom of God on this earth like David and Daniel did. We invite you to do this will of God and live out His calling together!

We are conducting interview after viewing your resume and testimony. Please email your RESUME and A PAGE OF YOUR PERSONAL TESTIMONY OF FAITH with your vision and strategies included.
