  • Responsibilities

    JOB DUTIES:

     

    Under the supervision of the department Supervisor, maintenance personnel are responsible to inspect different equipment and perform any basic repairs or preventative maintenance when required. Candidate must have previous experience in maintenance, be highly skilled with various hand and power tools, and be able to read blueprints and repair manuals.

     

    MAINTENANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Conduct routine inspections inside and outside of premises and equipment.
    • Perform preventative maintenance on evaporative units and building equipment, etc.
    • Handle basic building repairs and yard maintenance.
    • Oversee contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
    • Diagnose mechanical issues and correcting them.
    • Repair machines/machinery, building equipment, and/or structures as necessary.
    • Backup/ Reload PLC program.
    • Perform lawn care as needed/clean weeded areas
    • Evaporate unit repairs
    • HVAC experience is a PLUS (Heating/cooling)
    • Basic electricity knowledge is a PLUS
    • Other duties as assigned.

     

     

     

     

    MAINTENANCE WORKER REQUIREMENTS:

    • Proven maintenance experience.
    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
    • Related degree from a technical college.
    • Must be forklift certified
    • Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
    • Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts.
    • Ability to check blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary.
    • Ability to use common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and
    • Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices.
    • Experience performing routine maintenance.
    • Strong organizational and follow up skills.
    • Eye for detail.
    • Ability to maintain focus while working individually.
    • Strong time management skills.
