Position is responsible for campus shrub, perennial flower, groundcover beds, and tree maintenance, primarily on inner campus and tree trail area. Assist groundskeepers with irrigation repairs, chemical applications, mowing and other aspects of campus maintenance.  Snow and ice removal to include being called in during off hours. Assist with trash removal and recycling.  Perform maintenance and repairs to grounds equipment. Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

• Turf and Ornamental Pesticide applicator License or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire date

Required Experience

• 3 years experience in Grounds maintenance to include, chemical application experience
• Mowing and trimming experience with commercial equipment
• Experience with minor irrigation repairs and controller adjustments
• Native grass maintenance experience, preferred
