    Job Purpose:

    Managing a portfolio of accounts in accordance with Red Iron credit policies, processes, and Toro objectives.  Position will work closely with Toro division personnel, channel partners, TCFIF credit personnel, and other colleagues to minimize risk through strong collections while striking a balance to deliver superior customer care.

    What is Red Iron Acceptances?

    -  In 2009, with the desire to provide its customers access to cost-effective financing, the Toro Company created a joint venture with TCF Inventory Finance, Inc. (TCFIF)  called Red Iron Acceptance, LLC (Red Iron). Since then, Red Iron has been providing distributors and dealers of the Toro and Exmark brands with exceptional service and a reliable source of inventory financing.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Management of a portfolio of accounts
      • Establish strong, trusting relationships with accounts
      • Handle customer questions and issues quickly and professionally
      • Understand the risk implications to Toro, TCFIF, and customer when concerns arise
      • Maintain compliance with policies, legal documents, procedures, and regulatory authorities
      • Provide training to customer’s when needed on systems functionality
      • Contact customers for payment of due items per TCFIF policy
    • On-boarding of new customers
      • Process new Red Iron customer applications per TCFIF procedures
      • Prepare and collect documents for underwriting review
      • Follow with customers for required TCFIF legal documents
      • Contact TCFIF for new account set-up, notify customer and sales representative
    • Project as required
      • Work within Red Iron or with other Toro functions or divisions to drive process changes
      • Be a team member or leader of cross-functional projects

     

    Job Dimensions:

    • Supports a geographical area of accounts that includes product lines from several divisions
    • Works with multiple external companies/providers.
    • Includes some travel to other Toro and distributor locations (up to 5%).

     

    Specifications:

    • BS/BA in Accounting or Finance required.
    • 0-3 years of experience in a finance, collections, or banking related field is preferred.
    • Excellent writing, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability understand customer’s business in the context of inventory financing.
    • An aptitude for learning / mastering a variety of system tools.
    • A strong desire and skill for customer care.
