You have the persistent desire to make videos and tell stories.  The idea of your work helping spread the gospel of Jesus to thousands of people each year, motivates you.  You can flex between producing both creative or technical work and working individually or with a team. THE JOB As a film or video editor, you will be responsible for assembling recorded raw material into a finished product that's suitable for broadcasting and distribution. The material may include camera footage, dialogue, audio, graphics and special effects.

The day-to-day tasks performed by the Video Producer/Editor involve a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail. Professionals are required to have extensive working knowledge of sophisticated editing software, such as Final Cut Pro X, Compressor, and ideally After Effects in order to digitize or import audio and video footage. They must also organize footage in a way that conveys the intended message to target audiences.

The Video Producer/Editor is also responsible for mastering finished products in a timely manner and archiving existing projects to ensure that sufficient resources exist to allow for new projects. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are also essential.
