    Your job as a Barback is an important role because you create a wonderful experience for each bar guest and ensure the highest level of service. If you have a "Passion for Perfection" and a "Passion for Service", this job is for You! The Barback makes sure each guest has a great experience by meeting their every need by making sure the bar is set-up and stocked with everything needed to provide exceptional service, and according to the hotel standards. The purpose of this job is to ensure the bartenders have everything they need at their finger tips to serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to patrons of bar and dining room guests.

    As a Barback, you will:

    Sets up bar at the beginning of the shift, following the Pre-Shift Procedures.

    Have all equipment/supplies set prior to opening the bar and ensure all equipment is in working order.

    Replenishes supplies as needed during the shift.

    Keep bar, refrigerator, and service area clean and organized at all times.

    Be familiar with beverages, cocktails and hotel mixing portion control according to hotel standards.

    Assist in opening and closing sidework as assigned.

    Mixes, other ingredients, condiments, napkins, stir sticks, other supplies are stored properly for future use.

    Dirty glassware and ash trays are taken to the dish room. Clean glassware returned to aisle.

    Wash throughly and store properly all small measuring/mixing/serving equipment, trays, and tray stands.

    As requested, report to liquor storeroom to assist.

    Notify management of any needed repairs on the equipment.

    Attend all training/meetings as required by management.

    Perform other duties as requested by management.

    Accurately rings in food and drink orders to the POS system

    Complies with all health and safety regulations

    Complies with State laws for serving Alcoholic Beverages

    Fundamental Requirements

    Prior barback and food service experience is preferred. To be successful, you will need basic English communication skills. This job requires standing and walking 100% of the time, regularly bending, pushing, pulling, carrying, and the ability to perform repetitive motions for the entire shift. This job requires you to be able to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 30lbs. We administer pre-employment drug testing and background checks.
