    Your job as a Lead Bartender is an important role because you create a wonderful experience for our bar guests, bar staff and ensure the highest level of service. The Lead Bartender makes sure the drink menu and the products we serve our guests embody The Troubadour experience. The Lead Bartender trains the staff and fosters an environment that optimizes each guests’ experience.

    As a Lead Bartender, you will:

    Training staff to provide excellent service to patrons.

    Planning and taking part in promotional events and menu development

    Sets the standard for customer service, salesmanship, drink quality, and cleanliness and holds all bar staff accountable for achieving these standards.

    The Lead Bartender works closely with the F&B Manager to improve bar performance and to spearhead new research, creation, evaluation, and promotion of drink ideas.

    Sets up bar at the beginning of the shift following the Pre-Shift Procedures

    Replenishes supplies as needed during the shift using the FIFO method and assist in the maintenance of the supplies inventory

    Greets customers within 30 seconds

    Mixes beverages according to Recipes

    Fills all drink orders for servers

    Strives to build regular bar clientele by obtaining and using customers’ names

    Prepares all drinks in accordance with company recipes and specifications

    Handles all inside take-out orders placed

    Orders or requisitions liquors and supplies

    Slices and pits fruit for garnishing drinks

    Accurately rings in food and drink orders to the POS system

    Exchanges money for servers

    Serves food to guests in bar area

    Complies with all health and safety regulations

    Complies with State laws for serving Alcoholic Beverages

    Performs other duties as required.

    Fundamental Requirements

    Prior bartending and food service experience is required. To be successful, you will need basic English communication skills. This job requires standing and walking 100% of the time, regularly bending, pushing, pulling, carrying, and the ability to perform repetitive motions for the entire shift. This job requires you to be able to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 50lbs. We administer pre-employment drug testing and background checks.
