THE OPPORTUNITY
Manhattan-based education company is looking to staff after-school and weekend SHSAT in-person classes. We are seeking a responsible, organized educator who has a passion for teaching and a winning personality. We are interested in a presentable teacher who is engaging, enthusiastic, and articulate.
All applicants MUST HAVE AT LEAST 2 YEARS' POST-GRADUATE CLASSROOM TEACHING EXPERIENCE. A teacher capable of providing instruction on BOTH ELA AND MATH portions of the test is strongly preferred. A brief assessment will be administered as part of the interview process.

Weekday classes are 2.5 hours long and will occur sometime between 2:30-6:30 pm.
Mondays, 2:30 PM - 6:30 PM
Tuesdays, 2:30 PM - 6:30 PM
Wednesdays, 2:30 PM - 6:30 PM
Thursdays, 2:30 PM - 6:30 PM
Fridays, 2:30 PM - 6:30 PM
Saturdays, 9 AM - 11:30 AM and/or 12:00 PM - 2:30 PM
Sundays, 9 AM - 11:30 AM and/or 12:00 PM - 2:30 PM
be willing and able to commit to the course schedule
have a four-year degree from a prestigious university/college
have at least two full years' post-grad classroom teaching experience
have excellent references and pass a background check
