    The Tutorverse is hiring an experienced ISEE Tutor (In-person) in the NYC area to help our students achieve!

    Requirements

    Test Prep Experience: Applicants must have extensive experience in helping students prepare for ISEE specifically.

    Location: Applicants must be available to travel to students for in-person instruction within NYC, but primarily in Manhattan.

    Additional Qualities You Bring to the Table

    We're searching high and low for a reliable, organized, and experienced Test Prep Expert who is passionate and approachable. Our ideal candidate is:

    • Dynamic and Engaging: You should be able to hold your own in front of students and deliver content in a dynamic and engaging manner.
    • Experienced and has a Bachelor's Degree: We make a promise to our families that our instructors are truly experts in their respective fields, so we ask that you have a bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university, as well as five years of postgraduate teaching experience.

    Bonus Points If...

    • You have experience with other entrance exams, like the SSAT, SHSAT, ACT/SAT, and HSPT/TACHS.
    • You have experience helping students with their academic studies as well! Subjects include, but are not limited to:
      • Math: Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, AP Calculus AB/BC
      • ELA: Common Core State Exams, general reading comprehension, essay writing, AP Language, AP Literature
      • Science: AP Bio, AP Chem, AP Physics
