UPS Store 1538 11125 Park Blvd STE-104 Seminole, FL 33772 Job Description: UPS Store Customer Service Representative (CSR) Starting Pay Rate: $14-16 per hour, based on experience Part-Time hours available Monday-Saturday, 20-35 Hours per Week Eligible to earn Paid Time Off (PTO) after 3 months of employment The UPS Store Customer Service Representative (CSR) provides exceptional customer service in person, on the phone, and via the internet. In addition, he or she promotes the company's full array of products and services including Printing, Packing and Shipping, Mailboxes, Notary Services and Shredding. The ideal candidate for this position has a high school diploma or GED (some post high school education preferred), a minimum of one year of customer service experience, strong phone and computer skills, scheduling knowledge, and solid math skills. He or she must have strong interpersonal skills and a talent for working with both staff and customers. Fluent English speaking and written communication skills, good time management skills, and professional dress, speech, and behavior are all required for this position. UPS Store attire is required. UPS Store branded shirts will be provided. The following is a representative list of duties and responsibilities associated with this position: - Assure all customer interactions achieve a high level of customer satisfaction. - Work with small business owners and provide solutions that will help grow their business. - Perform daily operational procedures including inventory management, Point of Sale opening and closing procedures, including counting and balancing cash drawers. - Interacts with customers to provide information about products and services, take orders utilizing computer software for Point of Sale, Packing and Shipping, Mailbox fulfillment. - Uses UPS software to provide customers with shipping information based on size, weight and destination. - Determines cost of shipment by measuring shipping content (height, width and length), advising customer on packing requirements and recommending the correct box size. - Must be prepared to work standing, bending and lifting during the work day and be able to lift boxes weighing 50 lbs. - Working knowledge of Microsoft Publisher. Adobe Photoshop is a plus. - Operates black and white and color copiers to produce business quality printing products such as brochures, menus, business cards, flyers and performs preparation activities such as binding, cutting and laminating. - Sorts and reliably places mail in customer mailboxes at the UPS Store location. - Pass computer based training and receive UPS Store certification for Packing and Shipping. This includes custom and fragile packing that is guaranteed to the customer to arrive without damage. - Florida Notary certification is a plus, the UPS Store may provide the Notary training and certification for a qualified candidate.
