We are looking for a Part-Time Associate to join The UPS Store Ohana. This person must love interacting with people and be able to work independently to solve and discover customer needs. This may include shipping, printing, processing, dropping off packages, taking passport photos, etc. Because we offer various services, training is fully paid and continuous throughout employment.

• Preferred candidate is currently a Notary Public in Hawaii OR willing to become one*

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Delivers world-class customer service

· Communicates effectively and continuously practices good listening with customers, co-workers, vendors, and store leadership

· Operates all equipment, software, and devices expertly and is willing to teach others

· Takes ownership of customers’ packing, shipping, and/or print problems and offers viable solutions

· Takes action to learn all product and service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends

· May open and/or close the store, perform beginning and end-of-day accounting and administrative tasks, etc.

· Participates in center maintenance, including cleanliness, safety, and organization

· Empathizes and manages demanding, impatient, and/or frustrated customers to turn a stressful event into a positive experience

· Packages shipments for safe arrival, including assembling stock boxes, building custom boxes, and adequately cushioning contents

· Frequently multitasks while maintaining attention to detail and high-quality control

· Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

· High school diploma or GED required

· Retail/customer service experience

· Ability to learn and use POS systems

· Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask

· Able to cross-sell and up-sell products and services

· Good communication and people skills

· Prompt, reliable, and responsible

· Able to lift 40+ pounds · Weekend availability is required
