    THE WAREHOUSE COORDINATOR will work under the general supervision of the Director of Construction Operations. This position is responsible to ensure the safe and accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of products utilizing equipment including, but not limited to sit down forklifts, pallet jacks, shrink wrappers, pallet banders, and company owned or leased vehicles.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Load and unload freight using equipment in an efficient and safe manner.
    • Move product to designated storage areas utilizing the proper equipment.
    • Efficiently stack and safely store the merchandise in the designated area.
    • Pick orders for shipment and assemble various types of products to be shipped.
    • Check or count freight for accuracy and/or damage.
    • Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse.
    • Participate in physical inventories, as needed.
    • As directed by management, perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking.
    • Conduct operations in a manner, which promotes safety.
    • Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
    • Promptly report all safety malfunctions on equipment.
    • Comply with OSHA standards.
    • Meet production standards.
    • Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work environment.
    • Follow attendance policy, show up for work on time and ready to work assigned shift.
    • Charge or change forklift battery as needed.
    • Operate company owned and leased trucks to transport inventory between warehouse locations.
    • Monitor inventory of warehouse packing supplies and submit requests for re-stocking as needed.
    • Operate warehouse equipment.
    • Assist Inventory Coordinator in maintaining up to date inventories and records through a WMS,
    • Perform other duties as assigned, may be required to perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time, as needed.

    QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred, and a minimum of 3 years related work experience.
    • Possess a valid Class D Utah driver's license with an acceptable driving record and 3 years of personal driving experience.
    • Basic competence with a WMS (Warehouse Management System). NetSuite preferred.
    • Basic competence with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
    • Basic competence warehouse operations equipment, e.g. forklift, pallet jack, sit down lift truck.
    • Excellent communication skills a necessity when dealing with vendors and co-workers.
    • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
    • Problem solving skills and attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines are a must.
    • Ability to multitask on a daily basis.
    • Ability to work independently.
    • Ability to work overtime, evenings, or weekends to complete work or to attend meetings, as directed and authorized by management.
    • Must be able to relate to other people beyond giving and receiving instructions: they must get along with co-workers without exhibiting behavioral extremes; perform work activities requiring reasoning, negotiating, instructing, persuading, or speaking with others; and respond appropriately to corrective directions from a supervisor.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential functions for this position and meet the physical requirements needed to perform them, including but not limited to frequently requiring the ability to drive a fork lift, sit; hear or talk: use close vision; use hands to grasp, handle or feel objects; and type and manipulate controls. Employee is occasionally required to use distance vision, stand, kneel or crouch. Reasonable accommodations may be made for qualified individuals with disabilities. While performing the essential functions of this job, the warehouse coordinator:

    • May stand to pack pallets with products. Requires tolerance of standing posture up to 5 hours, over an 8-hour shift.
    • Must transfer boxes weighing up to 55 lbs. from ground level to 80 inches in height and up 70 lbs. to 50 inches in height rebuilding pallets. Lifting and carrying product to distances up to 6 ft. without mechanical assistance.
