    THE ROLE

    THE VOID is a fast growing company, and we are looking for a talented, motivated and experienced person to join us as an Accountant. Help us build the future of THE VOID!

    • Enter vendor bills, purchase orders and expense reports
    • Reconcile bank and credit card statements
    • Assist with monthly close process
    • File monthly and quarterly sales tax returns
    • Create monthly revenue entries
    • Communicate with vendors.
    • Perform other related duties as directed or as the situation dictates.
    • Assist in reconciliation of general ledger accounts monthly, and year-end close processes
    • Assist in other financial reporting

    THE REQUIREMENTS

    • Minimum of bachelor's degree in Accounting required
    • CPA designation preferred
    • Minimum 3+ years accounting experience
    • Strong knowledge of US GAAP
    • NetSuite knowledge preferred
    • Thorough understanding of Excel
    • Prefer experience in the technology and media industry
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
    • Strong financial, technical, and quantitative analytical skills
    • Self-motivated and team-driven
    • Goal-oriented and accountable
    • Ability to work closely with various departments.
    • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with coworkers, customers and vendors both verbally and in writing
    • Ability to follow direction
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Ability to work well in fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
