THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced front-end web developer to join our team!

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Work on TheVOID.com's public website along with other internal-facing web applications
• Develop highly responsive web-based user interfaces for wide variety of web-capable devices & browsers
• Optimize components, implement caching, and utilize best practices for maximum performance and scalability
• Develop features to enhance the Traveler journey and help The VOID continue as an industry leader in the VR space

EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING:

• 6+ years as a Front-end developer
• Expert in modern JavaScript; including DOM manipulation, object models, closures, prototypes, async, promises, job queues, etc
• Thorough understanding of & experience with ReactJS
• Experience with server-side-rendering
• Strong HTML capabilities
• Strong CSS/LESS/SASS experience
• Experience with integrating APIs (3rd party & in-house)
• Strong knowledge of best practices for web development; including SEO, analytics, & bundling
• Experience with data-driven design, internationalization, & localization
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
