Job Description
We are a family-owned business, based in the beautiful Green Mountains of southern Vermont, looking for EXCEPTIONAL STUDENTS WITH AN INTEREST IN BUSINESS MANAGEMENT. Join our 10 week internship program that is designed to provide a cross functional hands-on experience in OPERATIONS, STATISTICAL AND INVENTORY ANALYSIS, WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS, RETAIL AND OTHER AREAS AS THEY RELATE TO THE SUCCESS OF OUR BUSINESS. Our internships consist of on the job learning and allow participants to take these meaningful skills on to future employment. This summer experience is accompanied by an introduction to how we provide service to and take part in our surrounding communities, an extraordinary quality that our company values.

Qualifications
Education/Certification/Professional License:
• Working toward an undergraduate or graduate program in Business Administration, Management, Economics or other
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Experience:
• Students with practical or educational experiences in business administration, management
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to write business procedures
• Ability to create spreadsheets with little instruction
_Language Skills: _
• Ability to speak clearly and communicate effectively with co-workers
_Reasoning Skills: _
• Ability to apply common sense and critical thinking to carry out instructions and make decisions within scope of authority
• Ability to deal with problems involving several variables
• Ability to follow policies and procedures
Computer Skills:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and internet usage
• Ability to write clear and concise e-mails
