    THE POSITION

    The Product & Operations Analyst serves as a key resource in the Merchandising department focusing on analyzing the success of products in online and catalog sales, and assisting in planning the number and type of products to include in the next offer. The Product & Operations Analyst will also serve as the key liaison for drop ship vendors (vendors who ship products directly to customers) working on vendor agreements and communications, liquidations, and product management.

         

    A SAMPLING OF WHAT YOU’LL DO 

    • Support the multi-channel analytical and planning efforts in Merchandising.
    • Leverage analytics to develop in-depth insights that translate into actionable recommendations.
    • Create one-time and monthly reports by product and category that illustrate the economics of product performance and present data in a consumable format for your business partners.
    • Conduct post-season review of products to identify growth opportunities and present findings.
    • Serve as the key liaison for drop ship vendors regarding contracts including vendor agreements, vendor compliance materials, and systems training during new vendor set-up.
    • Collaborate with all departments to facilitate and help resolve vendor and product issues relating to drop ship items.

    WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • 1 - 3 years in a multi-channel retail environment
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to effectively communicate throughout all levels of the organization
    • Capacity to develop and cultivate effective partnerships both internally and externally
    • Exceptional analytical and time management skills especially in the areas of prioritization and planning
    • Attention to detail in navigating complex problems and the ability to determine next steps
    • Ability to successfully operate in areas of uncertainty and ambiguity
    • Demonstrated ability to learn and utilize all business systems

         Candidates who are residents of Vermont are eligible for a HYBRID REMOTE WORK agreement to work some days from home, however there WILL BE TIME REQUIRED WEEKLY ONSITE in Manchester Center, VT, so all candidates are expected to be within a drivable distance to our main offices.
