    We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our team and support students with diverse learning needs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with students who have a range of disabilities and learning challenges, possess strong instructional skills, and be committed to creating inclusive and supportive learning environments. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing personalized instruction, accommodations, and support services to help all students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. FT, PT, and seasonal (06/03 to 08/09/24) • Full-time Schedule is 7:45 AM to 3:15 PMPart-time Schedule is 8:00 AM to 2:45 PM • Seasonal from June 3rd to August 9th, 2024. Full-Time starts at $40,000 a year. Part-Time and seasonal starting at $18.50 an hour. Responsibilities: • Adapt instructional materials, methods, and assessments to meet the unique needs and abilities of students with disabilities. • Provide direct instruction and support in academic subjects, life skills, social skills, and other areas of need, both in inclusive settings and specialized settings as appropriate. • Utilize a variety of teaching strategies, interventions, and assistive technologies to address diverse learning styles and abilities. • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, and adjust instructional strategies and supports accordingly. • Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to promote inclusion and provide accommodations and modifications for students with disabilities in the general education classroom. • Support students in developing self-advocacy skills, self-regulation strategies, and independence in learning tasks. • Implement behavior management techniques and interventions to support positive behavior and social-emotional development. • Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to provide updates on student progress, discuss concerns, and collaborate on strategies for support. Qualifications: • ABA certification or experience in Applied Behavior Analysis • Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder • Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Bachelor's degree in education or a related field • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus • RBT certified • Experience working with students with special needs Compensation: $40,000
