Sellersville Theater is an intimate live music venue with 325 seats featuring national and international acts. Our goal is to provide true hospitality and joy by treating our customers, our performers and each other with warmth, sincerity, and respect. We are looking for a few sound technicians who can join our team and contribute to providing a wonderful musical experience for all.
Sound Technician responsibilities:
Prepare for performers' arrival by setting up stage per stage plot. Perform complete system check
Assist load in when artist arrives, make necessary changes to stage set up
Sound check artist and opener if there is one
Focus lights, select appropriate house music, make prepared show announcements
Adjust mix and lighting as necessary during show
Look for positive solutions to inevitable difficult situations to elicit the best performance possible from the artist
After show, assist artist in breaking down, clean up and organize to be ready for our next show!
Sound Technician requirements:
Two to three years hands on experience with live sound (can be technical schooling, religious sound, on the road training)
Willingness to wear many hats (sound, lights, Emcee, etc)
Lifelong learner who enjoys the challenge of positive problem solving
Musical ability on any instrument a plus
