The Washington House Hotel and Restaurant, along with Sellersville Theater, is seeking a line cook that wants to be trained on all positions and is motivated to work in our high volume, team oriented environment. Our 200 seat restaurant serves Contemporary American cuisine in a comfortable, unpretentious atmosphere. Our kitchen also serves the needs of national and international performers at Sellersville Theater, and caters to our sponsors at private events. Our 11 room boutique hotel is highly rated on TripAdvisor and often hosts celebrations with catering for locals and visitors alike.

Our goal at The Washington House and Sellersville Theater is to provide happiness by giving excellent customer service to everyone who enters our facilities-including ourselves! We are a hard working, caring and knowledgeable team that focuses on looking for opportunities to make each person's experience special. We are looking for a full time line cook to join our current staff, who can contribute that positive energy necessary to reach our goal of true hospitality for every guest, performer and member of our team.

Line cook responsibilities:

• Prepare your station for your shift according to the business expected that day.
• Follow all recipes as they are written and you are taught.
• Follow all food safety procedures.
• Prepare orders consistently and present as expected.
• Keep station neat and organized during service.
• Restock product so that the next shift is prepared.
• Clean and sanitize station and all prep areas.
• Work cooperatively with all front of house, back of house, hotel and theater staff to maintain a positive work environment at all times

Line cook requirements:

• Some kitchen or school experience in the hospitality industry
• Availability to work varied hours/days
• Availability to come in early or stay late on occasion as business dictates
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to lift and carry heavy plates, boxes, food deliveries
