Market-leading global food manufacturer is currently in search of an experienced Production Supervisor with a strong background in food or consumer products packaging to join its team within one of its growing plants in Memphis, TN. The Production Supervisor will train on day shift (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM), but must have flexibility to work night shift (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM) if assigned after the training period. The typical schedule is four shifts one week, three shifts the next, with every other weekend off.

Primary responsibility is the hands-on leadership of packaging or processing areas on the assigned shift within a state-of-the-art facility, including oversight of up to 30 hourly associates.

Key requirements to be considered for this opportunity:

• BS Degree, preferably within an engineering or business management discipline
• Must have 3-5 years of production supervisory experience within a food manufacturing operation
• Must have demonstrated experience in the leadership, training, and development of hourly associates to attain company objectives
• Must have a proven track record in the areas of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement, including process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma, TPM, Kaizen, and SPC
• Must have excellent communication skills and computer skills - SAP experience is preferred
• Must have flexibility to work nights and weekends as assigned to meet production needs
• Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer - sorry, no sponsorships
