    Job Summary

    Assists with the functions of the accounting team by providing administrative and clerical work including the following duties:

    Essential Functions of the Job

    Scanning and copying for tax and audit department upon request.

    Monthly Scanning of Bank Reconciliation Statements to Worksite

    Scanning of Yearly 1099’s to Worksite

    Input daily journal entries, print MRI detail of entry and proof input.

    Daily scanning of journal entries to Worksite.

    Assist in the write up of accounts payable cover sheets.

    Assist in MRI entry of accounts payable invoices and proof input.

    Assist in the preparation of accounts payable checks.

    Assist in mailing of checks and any accompanying stubs.

    Assist in the scanning of accounts payable documents and uploading to server.

    Take the banking to the necessary banks, daily.

    Assists others as needed and special projects, as requested.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

    A minimum of two (2) years of related experience and/or training.

    LANGUAGE SKILLS

    Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents, publications, etc. in the English language. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, personnel, clients, and the general public, etc.

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

    Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

    REASONING ABILITY

    Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

    CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

    Valid Department of Motor Vehicle Driver's License

    OTHER SKILLS & ABILITIES

    Proficient in computer word-processing and type at least 50-55 wpm. Ability to operate general office equipment, including: telephones, fax machines, photocopiers, printers, typewriters, postage machine, etc.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
