    ENTERPRISE LEVEL SYS ADMIN

    This is not a help desk position, but rather a role for someone with about 5-10 years worth of experience, a true senior level talent that's steeped in Microsoft products, virtualization tools, storage area networks, data security and more.

    SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR CAREER OPPORTUNITY

    The Systems Administrator provides technical support and administration of SHP computer systems including servers, desktops, printers and peripherals. The position requires extensive experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals.

    CORE RESPONSIBILITIES & FUNCTIONS

    • Support and maintain system to industry standards
    • Troubleshoot and resolve problems per documented methods and instruction
    • Ensure servers, desktop and peripheral devices are installed and accede in a secure manner and ensure against unauthorized access, modification, or destruction.
    • Respond to HelpDesk tickets as assigned and present customer feedback to management.
    • Maintain equipment per established practices and guidelines and per the disaster recovery program
    • Identify compliance efficiencies and potential cost savings
    • Participate in systems upgrades and testing
    • Work in an on call 24/7 environment
    • Participate in training activities to maintain technical currency and broaden product knowledge
    • Exercise a high degree of discretion and confidentiality while adhering to SHP policies and HIPAA regulations

    EDUCATIONAL, EXPERIENCE, AND LICENSURE

    • Associate’s Degree and/or 5+ years direct experience administering enterprise level system
    • Preferred certifications: Microsoft MCSE: Core Infrastructure, Cisco CCNA Routing and Switching, CompTIA A+, Network+, and other/or other relevant certifications
    • Relevant hardware: HPE Nimble Storage systems, HPE Server hardware, Cisco Catalyst and Nexus networking hardware, Barracuda Load Balancers, Digium, Avaya VOIP Phone System, Forcepoint Enterprise Suite, Netgate pfSense firewalls, Fortigate VPN/firewalls
    • Relevant software: VMWare ESXi/vSphere, Microsoft operating systems (workstation/Servers), Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Server Clustering/Clustering Services, MS Active Directory, MS Exchange, Cisco CLI, Microsoft CLI
