    Nonprofit contract therapist: Feeling isolated in your private practice? Looking for a sense of community? Want to contribute to folks who wouldn’t otherwise be able to access therapy? The mission of our counseling program, Room To Talk, is to provide a safe space for therapy and transformation for individuals across the gender spectrum. We offer health insurance credentialing, billing, and a supportive work environment. Team members meet weekly to share the latest practices within a trauma-informed, social justice framework. Responsibilities: • Build and maintain an active caseload of 25-30 client-hours each week ($55-70/yr depending on caseload) • Complete brief clinical and billing documentation • Engage in crisis management, safety planning, and resource navigation with clients online and in person • Attend weekly hour-long ROOM TO TALK group consultation sessions with colleagues • Uphold values of transparency, inclusion, and egalitarianism Qualifications: • Fully-licensed LMSW (Licensed Master of Social Work) or LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) in Michigan • A desire to engage in both in-person and online therapy; proof of COVID vaccination • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • A commitment to working with diverse identities, including intersecting identities of race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, and gender identity • Ability to form effective partnerships with clients, staff, volunteers, and donors • A strong commitment to collaboration and cross-training – i.e., learning other roles in the organization and pitching in where necessary • Creativity, curiosity and a desire to grow Compensation: $65,000 - $80,000 depending on caseload
