Qualifications
House Manager Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
10+ years related experience working as a Domestic Couple or a House Manager with a keen understanding of 5-star level service
Possess a keen understanding of the organizational and staffing requirements to sustain an estate at a 5-star level of comfort, high-end aesthetic, and white glove service
Experience supervising housekeeping staff and partnering with staff from other residences
Prior responsibility for household budget creation, implementation, review, and audit
Experience collaborating with facility and grounds crews for renovation, maintenance, and project management
Proven ability to communicate concisely and professionally in email, text, phone, and in-person conversations
Well versed in entertaining, hosting, fine dining, and the specific event organizational needs
Educated in luxury items and procurement
Knowledge of complex home systems, including lighting, heating, cooling, security
Possess polished, calm, and highly discreet characteristics
Operate with urgency and professionalism always
Flexibility with scheduling; ability to work both overtime and weekends as needed
Driver's license with clean record required
Strong references required
Some post high school education - preferably in hospitality and culinary arts is a plus
Must be willing to live onsite in the Santa Ynez area
Must be able to legally work within the United States
Covid vaccination may be required
Executive Housekeeper Required Skills and Experience:
Compensation: Base Salary $100,000.00 to $110,000.00 per person per year and includes relocation allowance, 2-bedroom home, all utilities, medical, dental and vision insurance, and 401k match. Final package based upon experience and skills.
