  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    • Identify and craft compelling corporate communications in support of company news and key corporate initiatives (philanthropy, employer of choice, major campaigns, crisis communications, etc.)
    • Support corporate leadership with enterprise-wide media relations efforts, which includes building and maintaining relationships with key beat reporters
    • Own the media list development, media tracking and monitoring, and packaging/distribution of media coverage and clips
    • Develop message guides, strategy memos, briefing documents, creative materials, interview talking points, and other written corporate communication assets
    • Collaborate and work cross-functionally with our marketing, advertising, research, talent acquisition, philanthropy, DEI, and legal teams to help and ensure stakeholder communications reflect the company's mission and values
    • Conduct and analyze competitive brand research to identify trends and present critical findings to senior leadership
    • Assist with the mentorship and growth of a Coordinator, Corporate Communications
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • At least 3 years of corporate communications experience within a public relations agency or corporate communications environment
    • Strong, clear, and concise writing and editing skills, especially under tight deadlines
    • Strong knowledge and demonstrated usage of AP style and standard PR tools (Cision, Critical Mention, PR Newswire)
    • Ability to create engaging PowerPoint presentations
    • Social media experience developing engaging and compelling content for online platforms including Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram
    • Impeccable attention to detail and consistency in daily program execution
    • Strong interest in consumer-packaged goods industry and philanthropy
    • Ability to own projects from start to finish, manage competing deadlines and priorities, and anticipate team needs
    • High emotional IQ coupled with the ability to handle high-pressure assignments
    • High level of discretion when handling confidential material
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Curiosity, motivation, and superior listening/comprehension skills
    • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, English, or related business field
    • Perform at a high level with minimal supervision or work independently
    • Collaborate with others in an environment that can be fast-paced and at times, stressful
    • Ability to travel on short notice
    • Capability to manage multiple competing priorities effectively
