The right candidate will demonstrate the following qualities and abilities:

 Willingness to teach from expertly written curriculum and be coached on current teachingmethods, while also bringing your own passion, enthusiasm, and expertise of your subjectmatter to the classroom.

 Facilitate a very interactive classroom with frequent discussions and hands-on learningactivities.

 Provide real-world examples to illuminate concepts and increase subject matter relevance.

 Manage classroom conduct requirements. This includes appropriately enforcing professionalism, behavior expectations, and tolerance of diverse backgrounds, learning styles, and learning paces.

 Provide clear and constructive feedback to students.

 Maintain positive working relationships with fellow faculty and staff through open, honest,respectful communication and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

 Be responsive, engaging, reliable, organized, adaptable, and patient.

 Have a minimum of two years teaching experience in a health-related field.

A current Indiana State massage therapy license is required for those applying to teach massage techniqueclasses.
