    Company Background:Long term, multi-unit Woodhouse Spa franchise owner with locations in Plano and Fort Worth seeks Regional Director to lead operations in DFW. The company anticipates organic growth driving the need for this position, and is considering opening additional locations in the coming years. The Regional Director reports directly to the owner.

    Regional Director (“RD”) will oversee the full spectrum of operations in spa. In addition, RD will lead HR/Staffing function and Marketing/Advertising/Community Relations functions within the region.

    Key responsibilities include driving results, ensuring quality, compliance and consistency of the brand. The RD will spend time developing and collaborating with the 2 General Managers that are his/her direct reports and engaging with spa staff during regular spa visits. The RD will drive demand creation through effective local marketing activities. The RD will manage the recruiting and hiring of spa team members to meet customer demand.

    Regional Director should ensure smooth, quality-driven, profitable operations while maintaining operational integrity in guest-focused environments. The mark of a successful Regional Director is high employee satisfaction, employee retention, growth in metrics, and operational compliance.

    Operations:

    Drive top- and bottom-line performance

    Execute toward spa level KPI goals

    Train, mentor, and support General Managers

    Ability to analyze financial or operational data to make strategic and tactical decisions

    Identify areas for process improvement and work with General Managers to execute

    Ensures systems and procedures are in place and followed for operational effectiveness

    Own HR function and work closely with General Managers to ensure compliance with state, local and corporate regulations, policies and brand standards

    Own the marketing, advertising and community relations functions. Ensure demand creation efforts drive growth

    Build and develop a bench of potential managers through an emphasis on coaching and development

    Maintain a constant focus on forecasting hiring needs, spa staffing levels, and succession planning

    Communicate regularly with direct reports and spa staff to build alignment for Woodhouse policies and initiatives

    Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to effectively address any issue in collaboration with others as appropriate; the ability to proactively identify and prevent potential problems and to develop problem-solving skills among employees as appropriate

    Ability to initiate and direct collaborative efforts of multiple teams throughout the organization, including internal resources, external resources, and others as appropriate with aim of furthering company goals

    Travel to spa locations at least 50% of the time. Use of personal vehicle is required

    Fill in and assist with General Manager or other critical spa tasks as needed

    Serve as liaison with corporate regional manager to ensure compliance with brand standards

    The ideal candidate will possess:

    Ten years of professional business experience required, with current operational responsibility at regional management level or equivalent in hospitality operations

    Five years as General Manager of a spa or hotel

    Progressive leadership experience retail, spa or hospitality operations

    Proven track record of driving KPIs and profitable growth

    Effective communication, leadership, and talent development skills

    Entrepreneurial nature with enthusiasm for growth and comfort with uncertainty

    Prior experience in multi-location service-based industry

    Additional Requirements:

    Proven experience in communication and leadership, with excellent written skills

    Must live in the region and regularly travel to spend time in both spas

    Woodhouse serves customers 7 days per week. Must be flexible with schedule

    Must be able/willing to work in any spa in region, as need arises

    Must have valid driver’s license

    Requires standing for up to eight hours at a time, and walking with some bending, kneeling, stooping

    Occasional light lifting not over 50lbs

    Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Zenoti Point of Sale software, personal productivity software, knowledge in all aspects of spa operations and management, daily management of all areas of operations involving human resources, housekeeping and maintenance

    Education/Experience:Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Hospitality, or related field or equivalent years of work experience required
