  • Responsibilities

    Deliver professional manpower, personnel, and training (MPT) analysis and support for a Marine Corps Systems Command portfolio.

    • Under direct supervision, conduct comprehensive MPT Analyses in accordance with DoD directives and standards to include the NAVMC 1553.1a Marine Corps Instructional Systems Design/Systems Approach to Training and Education Handbook (MCISD/SATE).
    • Analyze training materials and technical manuals to identify Job Tasks, Training environments, Programs of Instruction, Evaluation of training, Training aids and completed Learning Analysis.
    • Serve as a technical and functional expert in all elements of Manpower, Personnel, and Training (MPT).
    • Support and facilitate MPT Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
    • Assist Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) to conduct analyses in support of the identification of training requirements.
    • Provide advisory and consultation services to the Lead Logistician.
    • Provide MPT input for Program Management Reviews, Integrated Product Team Meetings, milestone reviews, and logistics events.

    • Excellent customer facing and internal oral and written communications skills.
    • Must be well versed in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Power Point.
    • Experience with the DoD and Marine Corps Acquisition Processes.
    • Experience with acquisition processes and the development and preparation of acquisition documents.

    DESIRED:

    • Knowledge of TFSMS and LORAS.
    • Experience reading and interpreting Marine Corps Publications is desired.
    • Understanding and experience with Marine Corps Communications Systems highly desired.

    Required Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of relevant experience; OR 7+ years of relevant work experience may substitute for degree.
    • Experience with acquisition processes and the development and preparation of acquisition documents.
    • Experience working in a Marine Corps Acquisition Program Office.
    • Knowledge of Marine Corps Communications Systems desired.
