    Our law firm has a full-time associate attorney position available now, and we’re looking for the right professional to join our team. You will have the opportunity to jump into a busy civil and criminal litigation firm and work alongside senior associates as we work to provide legal counsel to new and existing clients. You will also be responsible for performing legal research, drafting documents, appearing at court hearings and trial preparations and appearances, and keeping client files current. If you’ve successfully completed law school, passed the Georgia Bar exam, and are seeking a full-time hybrid in-person/remote opportunity to practice law with plenty of room for independent work and growth, start your application today! Responsibilities: • Communicate with senior associates, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently • Conduct legal research, prepare for and attend hearings and/or other legal proceedings, and provide legal counsel with the help of senior associate attorneys • Analyze conflicts in legal matters, advise clients on solutions, and negotiate on behalf of clients • Create legal documents, including correspondence, briefs, motions, pleadings, contracts, affidavits, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings • Keep files organized to make sure the most recent updates are accessible to other attorneys, paralegals, and staff • Prepare for and conduct civil and criminal hearings and trials Qualifications: • Ability to work with senior attorneys to best serve client needs and grow our client base • Active member of the American Bar Association (ABA) • Successful completion of the bar exam • Completion of a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school • Exceptional communication skills and problem-solving skills needed in order to work with all levels of staff and our clients • Be licensed in Georgia Compensation: $75,000 - $95,000 yearly
