Advertising Account Executive

Type: Full-time

Our Town Publishing, a family-owned media company consisting of 15 newspapers covering 25 towns and 172K in direct mail circulation, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Advertising Account Executive to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses to understand their advertising needs.
• Create and present advertising proposals to clients based on their marketing objectives.
• Meet and exceed sales targets through proactive sales activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful execution of advertising campaigns.
• Stay updated on industry trends and competitive analysis to identify new business opportunities.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in media or advertising.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of the Auburn, Charlton, Dudley, Oxford, and Webster areas is a plus.
